The container withstands and absorbs the detonation of the explosive substance or article inside.<\/p>\n<p>The container is packed in the especially designed (and tested) UN 4A stainless steel outer box.<\/p>\n<p>After testing the competent authority in The Netherlands \u201cTNO Defence, Safety &amp; Security\u201d concluded the following classifications to the Explosafe 7.5 (except when loaded with shaped charges):<\/p>\n<p>UN 0349 ARTICLES, EXPLOSIVE, NOS; 1.4S\u00a0(US DOT Class C) and<\/p>\n<p>UN 0481 SUBSTANCES, EXPLOSIVE, NOS; 1.4S (US DOT Class C)<\/p>\n<p>So, container and outer box are a totally safe combination able to fulfill the conditions of the UN Model Regulations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Class 1 \u2013 Explosives, Division 1.4 compatibility group S, such as \u2018..any hazardous effects arising from accidental functioning are confined within the package\u2026\u2019<\/p>\n<p>For many types of explosives TNO has calculated the volumes allowed in the Explosafe 7.5.
