Transport protection

According to ADR, Chapter 1.10, companies that ship or transport substances with a high risk potential, above certain quantities, must draw up a transport security plan. Transport security plans are also required for other modes of transport, which should be taken into account when looking at other people's security regulations (for example, provisions under the Aviation Security Act).

A transport security plan shall include, among other things:

  • how responsibility in the area of transport security has been allocated to individuals
  • a list of dangerous goods handled within the business
  • Overview of procedures and assessment of risks against violation of protection
  • measures to reduce risks
  • methods for reporting threats
  • measures to ensure physical protection
  • devices and equipment used for protection against theft or other abuse

We can help you analyze and develop appropriate transport security plans for your business.
